Vladimir Putin and his clique exhibit the pathological psychology of criminal murderers elevated to the level of state policy. The so-called “Russian world” has become a heresy and an ideology of hatred, while the Russian Federation has turned into a modern empire of evil. Yet even more disturbing is the degradation of the civilized world: global leaders flirt with the Kremlin, churches ignore the evident evil, and morality and human dignity find themselves under threat.

The Pathology of Criminal Consciousness

The behavior of Vladimir Putin and his entourage is nothing but the psychology and motivation of humanoid beings with the crippled mindset of criminal murderers. This is a pathological type of consciousness, infected with complexes of aggression, inferiority, hatred, and the lust for domination, accompanied by evident signs of mental degradation and a pathological ability for systematic lying.

When such traits are elevated to the level of state policy, they multiply the catastrophic consequences of these individuals remaining in power. They bring disaster both to Russia itself and to the entire world, as they threaten global security, international legal order, and the fundamental values of humanity.

The Alliance of Dictators

Similar traits are demonstrated by the Kremlin’s closest allies: North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, China’s leader Xi Jinping, and the rulers of Iran, who are fueled by hatred of freedom, democracy, and human rights.

Even more disgraceful is the fact that in the 21st century, the world must witness how representatives of supposedly civilized nations — Donald Trump in the United States, Viktor Orbán in Hungary, Robert Fico in Slovakia, Aleksandar Vučić in Serbia — flirt with and effectively legitimize dictators and criminals.

We should not forget the double-faced policies of leaders such as Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Turkey (a NATO member but a partner of Moscow) or Narendra Modi in India, who attempt to balance between the global democratic community and authoritarian regimes.

Churches Between Truth and Complicity

Church and religious leaders also cannot escape responsibility. Their stance — whether silent consent or overt “peacekeeping” contacts with the Kremlin and its allies — becomes complicity in crime.

Particularly cynical is the cooperation of religious organizations, even the Vatican, with the Russian Orthodox Church, which serves as the propagator of the heresy and the inhumane, anti-Christian ideology of the “Russian world.” It is clear to all that the Moscow Patriarchate, both in Russia and abroad, has become a co-organizer and accomplice in Putin’s criminal aggression and policies.

Ukraine’s Sacrifice

Against this background, the sacrificial struggle of the Ukrainian nation and the Ukrainian state acquires world-historical significance. Through their heroism and blood, Ukrainians are defending not only their own freedom and independence but also the countries of the European Union and the very idea of global democracy. The Ukrainian front is the frontline of all civilized humanity against the darkness of the new totalitarianism.

Where Are the World’s Morality and Dignity?

A natural and painful question arises: what is happening to the civilized world? Where is morality? Where is dignity? Where is loyalty to international law, to universal, Christian, and Islamic values? Has life truly lost its meaning and worth in the consciousness of those who are supposed to protect it?

Truth, justice, objectivity, and honesty always remain stronger than evil. And our duty is not to submit to dictators and criminals against humanity and humankind.
